Day’s YA Archives

Hi there, fellow readers! Welcome to Day’s YA!

Before we get down to business, I want to introduce myself and share a little bit about me. My name is Emily Day and I’m Macmillan’s Library Marketing Coordinator + YA Specialist. Prior to moving to NYC, I lived in Boston, where I worked as a bookseller/publishing intern/grad student combo. My preferred genre of music is Broadway musical soundtracks (my current fave is Hadestown), I love and collect maps (I even have a world map tattoo), and I look forward to winter all year long (give me all the cozy, cloudy, snowy days).

I read YA almost exclusively, and I am so excited to use this space to share some of my favorites with you. Be on the lookout for posts from me (labeled “Day’s YA” and stamped with this logo), where I will share my candid reviews of upcoming YA titles from Wednesday Books and Flatiron Books YA.
