The Annual BEA Adult Librarians Dinner

This event is by invitation only.
The AAP (Association of American Publishers) and Library Journal bring you the 6th annual swanky dinner event for adult librarians complete with authors, galleys, and delicious food!
Mark Shriver, author of A GOOD MAN: Rediscovering My Father, Sargent Shriver, will be speaking at the dinner. You can get a preview of his speaking voice by listening to him record the beginning of his audiobook here.

Booklist’s Top Ten Food Books!
Booklist brought us a list of the Top 10 Food Books, and here are the fantastic Macmillan family titles that made the cut. I'm dying to read Diet for a Hot Planet myself, as the impact of the industrial agriculture on the environment really has me worried.
