Fantastic news!!! ELEANOR & PARK by Rainbow Rowell has been named a 2014 Michael L. Printz Honor Book for Excellence in Young Adult Literature and CHARM & STRANGE by Stephanie Kuehn has been named the 2014 winner of the William C. Morris Award, which honors a book written for young adults by a previously unpublished author!

- Did you see today's Maximum Shelf? If not, take a look. It's entirely dedicated to Per Petterson's 1992 novel, IT'S FINE BY ME.

We never properly celebrated the fact that two of our totally stellar teen titles from St. Martin's Griffin were officially nominated for YALSA's 2013 Best Fiction for Young Adults reading list!

Nominees Posted for YALSA’s Best Fiction for Young Adults

We're thrilled to report that two of our favorite Young Adult titles have been nominated for YALSA's Best Fiction for Young Adults for 2012. Congratulations to Carol Lynch Williams (MILES FROM ORDINARY) and M.J. Putney (DARK MIRROR)!

YALSA’s Best Fiction for Young Adults Committee presents fiction titles published for young adults in the past 16 months that are recommended reading for ages 12 to 18.

The final BFYA list will be announced at the American Library Association’s Midwinter Conference.
