Contemporary Romance: Make Up Break Up by Lily Menon

This sparkling and heartfelt romantic comedy debut from Lily Menon just makes me smile so hard! It’s about two entrepreneurs developing very different technology: Annika’s Make Up app helps people find love and second chances, while Hudson’s Break Up app offers high-efficiency break-ups. It wouldn’t be a problem if they’d gone their separate ways after that summer fling in Las Vegas, but now Hudson has moved into Annika’s office building and they’re both competing at a prestigious investment pitch contest. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and Menon does it so well with the right balance of heated banter, sizzling chemistry, and touching moments as these two find some common ground.

Contemporary Romance: Float Plan by Trish Doller
