Now on to the books!

SUPERFLUOUS WOMEN by Carola Dunn
Daisy Dalrymple returns for her 22nd cozy mystery where a body found behind a locked door leaves her three friends as main suspects. “Now here’s a proper British mystery. A thoroughly cozy atmosphere combines with a solid mystery. More Daisy, please.” — Booklist

NO PLACE TO DIE by Clare Donoghue
When a retired policeman and a young girl both go missing, London Senior Detective Jane Bennett is tasked with leading the widening investigation. “Donoghue’s atmospheric second novel crackles with vivid descriptions and mounting tension.” — Booklist

THE DEAD ASSASSIN by Vaughan Entwistle
The 2nd book in the Paranormal Casebooks of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle follows the author’s attempt to solve an ill-fated assassination. “This captivating paranormal is a curious mix of alternative history, with steampunk overtures, that will appeal to readers who don’t mind a bit of genre blending. Entwistle’s tale may attract historical devotees who enjoy famous authors moonlighting as sleuths, such as in Nicola Upson’s ‘Josephine Tey’ books.” — Library Journal
