But MEAN BUSINESS is often mordantly funny, too—and not to be missed.” — Booklist, starred review

PROOF POSITIVE by Archer Mayor
In his 25th “smoothly plotted and absorbing” (Publishers Weekly, starred review) Joe Gunther mystery, the Vermont Bureau of Investigation agent investigates the death of a Vietnam vet turned hoarder who had combat photos someone wants to keep out of the public eye. “…a must-read for crime lovers.” — Booklist, starred review

DIE AND STAY DEAD by Nicholas Kaufmann
“In this smart and fast-paced follow-up to DYING IS MY BUSINESS, unkillable gangster Trent and the rest of the Five-Pointed Stars race against time to stop a madman from destroying the world—but the true danger comes from a far closer source. The strong writing and open ending will leave fans hungry for the next installment.” — Publishers Weekly, starred review
