If you love stories that mix sisterhood, loyalty, and absolute chaos, SISTERHOOD ABOVE ALL is one to pick up. This book had me hooked because it never let me fully settle in. Just when I thought I knew how far things would go, it kept raising the stakes.
Readers are dropped into the intense, high-pressure world of sorority rush at Southern State University, where belonging can feel just as powerful as survival. Ava has always wanted to become a Gamma—the most exclusive sorority on campus—not only for it’s status but because it is the last connection she has to her late mother. But Gamma’s president, Madison, is not willing to let just anyone in, and every potential new member is expected to prove herself worthy. At the same time, Shay, president of rival sorority Theta, is determined to prove her house can rise above the cutthroat competition that defines Greek life on campus. As Ava gets pulled deeper into Gamma’s world, the rivalry between the houses sharpens, loyalties begin to fracture, and the pressure to belong takes on a much darker edge. With Ava caught between longing, ambition, and the impossible standards of sisterhood, the story becomes a tense look at what people are willing to sacrifice for power, image, and acceptance.
What I really enjoyed about this book was how quickly it pulled me in and kept me questioning what really happened. From the very first page—with a girl falling from a balcony and rumors spreading that she had been pushed—the story immediately creates a sense of mystery that kept me hooked. I really enjoyed getting to the bottom of what happened and seeing how each character fit into the larger picture. The tension kept building in a way that made the book hard to put down, especially as more layers of the sorority dynamics started to unfold. I also enjoyed how the novel captured the darker side of sisterhood and belonging. It shows how badly people want to be chosen and accepted, and how that desire can turn toxic quickly. The lengths these girls would go to for the sorority were insane in the best way, which made the novel impossible to look away from.
If you love messy female dynamics, dark secrets, and campus thrillers full of scandal and suspense, SISTERHOOD ABOVE ALL absolutely delivers. It is especially perfect for fans of SCREAM QUEENS.
