Monday Fun Day! (8/5/2013 Edition)

Happy Monday, friends! We're starting this week with a hodgepodge-y check list of excellent linkage:

This book isn't ours, but you should still read The Boston Globe's charmed review of Boris Kachka's "delectably gossipy" account of our very own Farrar, Straus, & Giroux called HOTHOUSE: The Art of Survival and the Survival of Art at America’s Most Celebrated Publishing House (review online here).

Mark you calendar for EarlyWord's GalleyChat (#ewgc) tomorrow August 6th, from 4-5PM on Twitter (details). We want to hear about what you're reading!

Consider hosting a Google+ event for #1 New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon! Kenyon will open a Google+ Hangout on September 4th to celebrate the launch of STYXX and she's looking for a few venues to celebrate with her! Kenyon and her publicist are still in the early stages of planning the Hangout, but they're looking for nine enthusiastic venues that are ready to celebrate the Dark-Hunter series. If you're interested, please e-mail me with: the details of your A/V equipment, information on Google+/Skype events you've previously hosted, and how many people you think you can draw into your event.

And finally, be good to one another!!
