Welcome to a new week, everyone!

- Thank you to all of the librarians who came out to last week's book buzzes in New York and Philadelphia. I had a wonderful time sharing the good word about our Winter 2013 titles and I hope you heard about a few books you simply can't run a library without!

- Library Journal's resident dude expert, Douglas Lord, has curated another list of Books for Dudes including THE UNINVITED by Liz Jensen, of which he says, "Both the hero and the mystery of this superb and engrossing novel will captivate readers." See the full article here.

Happy Friday, librarians! We have two videos for you to cue up and enjoy over your lunch break today.

The first video is an episode of "Book Lust with Nancy Pearl" featuring Nancy in conversation with memoirist Paul Auster in which they talk about his latest, WINTER JOURNAL!

The second video is Shelf Awareness' Book Trailer of the Day for WE KILLED: The Rise of Women in American Comedy: A Very Oral History by Yael Kohen.

Be warned: The video itself is less that 2 minutes long, but time might get away from you as you spend the next few hours looking up clips from all your favorite comediennes...

You may remember Lars Kepler, the pseudonymous Swedish couple who charmed us all at the Mystery Authors Revealed Panel at PLA this year. Well, they're back with their third thriller after THE HYPNOTIST and THE NIGHTMARE!

Ali's Almost Done With:

A NATURAL HISTORY OF DRAGONS: A MEMOIR OF LADY TRENT by Marie Brennan (February, 2013)

I'm having way too much fun reading this book. These dragons are wild, fierce, and scary (read: they would make atrocious house pets). Also, there are mysterious goings-on involving smugglers and petrified dragon bones that I'm itching to get to the bottom of!

Expect to hear more about this one in the next Uncharted Pages...
