This sequel to INFINITY ALCHEMIST is just as thrilling and enchanting as the first book. But this time, the stakes are higher, the relationships are more complicated, and the magic is more dangerous. Featuring dynamic characters who are trans, bigender, queer, and polyamorous, this adventure fantasy duology will be relatable for many teens, and perhaps also the type of series many adults wished they’d had at that age. I think anyone looking for a refreshing and thoughtful romantic fantasy will devour this welcome addition to the genre.
