Happy #BookBday to the 2017 editions of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS and GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS GAMER’S EDITION! To celebrate, Guinness has created a FREE, downloadable Teacher’s Guide and is giving away 3 copies of both books to lucky librarians and/or teachers!

The Teacher’s Guide allows students and young patrons to explore the world of record-breaking in a fun and educational manner. It’s appropriate for Common Core Connections for Grades 2-5 and has many benefits:

— Engaging STEM-friendly activities
— Fascinating classroom/library activities that teach Language Arts, Science, Math and more
— Appropriate for all levels of readers
— Perfect for reluctant readers and struggling learners
— Can be used for one lesson or throughout the whole year
— Easy-to-use guide includes topical records (it’s not necessary to have the 2017 Edition to use the guide)

School Library Journal even showcased three amazing teens and their world record-breaking skills!

To enter the giveaway for a chance to win both GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2017 and GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS 2017 GAMER’S EDITION, email digital.nyc@guinnessworldrecords.com from your professional/library-issued e-mail address (subject: Teacher’s Guide) by September 8 and tell Guinness World Records which activity you would most likely do with your students/young patrons. Make sure to include your name, school, and library name. Good luck!
