A Tempting Excerpt

Vanity Fair has posted an excerpt from The Temptress:

Ben's Note: I had no idea what the Happy Valley set was, so a quick search on Wikipedia gave me a few interesting tidbits! My favorite quote from the section: "Frédéric reportedly found her 'Silverthorne' surname so charming he expressed regret their marriage would take it away from her."
