Macmillan Library is pleased to offer #librariansonly unprecedented access to our book buzz presentations!
But what is a book buzz presentation?
Nearly 20 times a year, Team Macmillan Library hits the road (actually or virtually) to talk about books. For those librarians unable to join us, here is your go-to portal for all the goods on our favorite books. #ReadersAdvisoryMadeEasy
Click on each presentation’s link below to access the downloadable PowerPoint version and adapt as needed. (Email us if you would like to receive the corresponding script and/or handout for a specific presentation.)
“Buzzing about forthcoming books is a great way to keep your customers coming back, and for us, it’s turned out to be a great way to build community.”
— A. Issac “Ike” Pulver, Director, Saratoga Springs Public Library, Saratoga Springs NY in a Booklist RA Showcase
But wait, there’s more! We also create CUSTOM presentations! SAY WHAT?!
Whether it’s for a staff development day, a regional book buzz, or a “new books” preview for the public, we are here to help!
To request a custom presentation for your library, email email@example.com with the following information:
— Presentation date
— Target audience (library staff, patrons, teens, etc.)
— Presentation theme (upcoming seasonal releases, genre-specific, debuts, nonfiction only, YA, etc.)
All custom presentations require a minimum of one month advance notice before your event.
We will provide two drafts (one for initial review, another with your edits) and deliver the final file to you a minimum of three (3) days before your event.
If desired, please send us your library’s logo and/or any website/social media links to include in the header/footer section(s).
