Happy #PubDay!

Historical fiction set in Paris and a standalone historical epic: I hope you’re excited for our gift to you for today’s #PubDay!

PARIS ECHO by Sebastian Faulks

“A fun romp through Paris and history, one that nevertheless makes us understand that the sins of the past are not truly past.”Kirkus

“Faulks offers a subtle but affecting portrait of friendship while exploring the immense difficulty of making sense of the larger world”Booklist

“Faulks shines new light on the experience of women during France’s darker past… An atmospheric, engrossing novel by a seasoned storyteller.”Library Journal

HEADS YOU WIN by Jeffrey Archer

“Typical for an Archer novel, the writing and characterizations are superb, and the book features several plot twists that send the story lines off in surprising new directions. There are a couple of moments, late in the novel, that should make readers’ jaws drop—moments so unexpected and surreal that they require a second reading, just to make sure we really just read what we think we did. A splendid novel, featuring one of Archer’s most elegantly told stories.”Booklist, starred review

Happy #BookBday (10/24/17 Edition)

Today we wish a happy #BookBday to:

TELL TALE by Jeffrey Archer

MIND GAME by Iris Johansen
In this twenty-first book in the Eve Duncan series, Jane MacGuire, Eve’s adopted daughter, plans to return to Scotland to resume her search for a lost ancient treasure, all the while beset by dreams of a girl in danger. “The best-selling Johansen employs a distinctive formula: energetic and extensive dialogue, steady pacing, and a seemingly bottomless whirlpool of emotion and romantic suspense. Fans will enjoy the opportunity to revisit Johansen’s much-loved cast.” — Booklist

THE BEAUTIFUL ONES by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Antonina Beaulieu’s telekinesis makes her a hardly sought-after bride, but when telekinetic performer Hector Auvray teaches her how to hone and control her gift, romance blossoms. Little does Antonina know that Hector and those closest to her are hiding a devastating secret…. “Readers who enjoyed Mary Robinette Kowal’s Glamourist Histories magical Regency series will be particularly enthralled by the genuine emotions evoked in the course of the unsustainable love triangle.” — Publishers Weekly readmoreremove
