Fall 2019:

THE GIRL THE SEA GAVE BACK by Adrienne Young
9781250168481
Available September 3, 2019 from Wednesday Books
Ages 12 to 18

The new gut-wrenching epic from the New York Times bestselling author of SKY IN THE DEEP.
For as long as she can remember, Tova has lived among the Svell, the people who found her washed ashore as a child and use her for her gift as a Truthtongue. Her own home and clan are long-faded memories, but the sacred symbols inked on her skin mark her as one who can see into the future. She has found a fragile place among those who fear her, but when two clans to the east join together as one, her world is dangerously close to collapse.

UNSTOPPABLE MOSES by Tyler James Smith will be available in trade paperback on September 10, 2019

THE GRACE YEAR by Kim Liggett
9781250145444
Available September 17, 2019 from Wednesday Books
Ages 14 to 18

No one speaks of the grace year. It’s forbidden.
Girls are told they have the power to lure grown men from their beds, drive women mad with jealousy. They believe their very skin emits a powerful aphrodisiac, the potent essence of youth, of a girl on the edge of womanhood. That’s why they’re banished for their sixteenth year, to release their magic into the wild so they can return purified and ready for marriage. But not all of them will make it home alive.

WAYWARD SON by Rainbow Rowell
9781250146076
Available September 24, 2019 from Wednesday Books
Ages 13 to 18

The eagerly anticipated follow-up to CARRY ON by #1 New York Times bestselling author Rainbow Rowell.
The story is supposed to be over. Simon Snow did everything he was supposed to do. He beat the villain. He won the war. He even fell in love. Now comes the good part, right? Now comes the happily ever after . . . So why can’t Simon Snow get off the couch? What he needs, according to his best friend, is a change of scenery. That’s how Simon and Penny and Baz end up in a vintage convertible, tearing across the American West. They find trouble, of course. (Dragons, vampires, skunk-headed things with shotguns.) And they get lost. They get so lost, they start to wonder whether they ever knew where they were headed in the first place . . .

HIS HIDEOUS HEART: Thirteen of Edgar Allan Poe’s Most Unsettling Tales Reimagined by Dahlia Adler
9781250302779
Available September 10, 2019 from Flatiron Books
Ages 12 to 18

Edgar Allan Poe may be a hundred and fifty years beyond this world, but the themes of his beloved works have much in common with modern young adult fiction. Whether the stories are familiar to readers or discovered for the first time, readers will revel in Edgar Allan Poe’s classic tales, and how they’ve been brought to life in thirteen unique and unforgettable ways. Contributors include Tiffany D. Jackson, Caleb Roehrig, Kendare Blake, Rin Chupeco, Lamar Giles, Tessa Gratton, Stephanie Kuehn, Emily Lloyd-Jones, Hillary Monahan, Marike Nijkamp, and Fran Wilde.

SIX GOODBYES WE NEVER SAID by Candace Ganger
9781250116246
Available September 24, 2019 from Wednesday Books
Ages 14 to 18

Two teens—Naima and Dew—meet after tragedy and learn about love, loss, and letting go. SIX GOODBYES WE NEVER SAID is no love story. If you ask Naima, it’s not even a like story. But it is a story about love and fear and how sometimes you need a little help to be brave enough to say goodbye.

WIND RIDER by P.C. Cast will be available in trade paperback on October 15, 2019

WHERE THE WORLD ENDS by Geraldine McCaughrean
9781250225498
Available December 3, 2019 from Flatiron Books
Ages 12 to 18

Every summer Quill and his friends are put ashore on a remote sea stac to hunt birds. But this summer, no one arrives to take them home. Surely nothing but the end of the world can explain why they’ve been abandoned—cold, starving, and clinging to life, in the grip of a murderous ocean. How will they survive such a forsaken place of stone and sea?
