In their press release the Mystery Writers of America say that the Edgar Awards are "honoring the best in mystery fiction, nonfiction and television published or produced in 2011."

Well, we couldn't be happier. A few of our favorite 2010 mystery authors walked out of the Grand Hyatt Hotel last night as Edgar Award-winners! A huge congratulations to everyone nominated; this year's list was full of nail-biting thillers, chilling crime, and simply great mystery writing. Our winners are as follows:

The 2011 Edgar Allan Poe Award-winners were announced April 28th, 2011 at a black tie gala at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York City. The Edgars honor the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction and television published or produced in 2010.
